How to Use the Wallpaper Calculator
Enter the length, width, and height of the room. Optionally enter the combined area of doors and windows that will not be covered by wallpaper.
The calculator subtracts those openings from the total wall area and estimates the number of wallpaper rolls needed based on the coverage of each roll.
Wallpaper Formula
Wall Area = 2 × (Room Length + Room Width) × Wall Height
The calculator then subtracts door and window areas and divides the remaining area by the coverage of one roll. The result is rounded up to the next whole roll.
Important
Actual wallpaper requirements can vary because of pattern matching, waste, ceiling height changes, corners, and installation requirements. Consider purchasing an additional roll when appropriate.
