How Wheel Offset Works

Wheel offset is the distance between the wheel's centerline and its mounting surface. A positive offset moves the mounting surface toward the outside of the wheel, while a negative offset moves it toward the inside.

Changing wheel width and offset can affect inner suspension clearance and how far the wheel extends toward the fender.

This calculator provides a geometric estimate only. Actual fitment can vary depending on tire size, suspension components, brake clearance, fender shape, ride height, and vehicle-specific factors.
