SEO ROI Calculator
Calculate your return on investment from SEO using organic traffic, conversion rate, conversion value, and SEO costs.
How to Calculate SEO ROI
SEO ROI measures how much revenue your SEO investment generates compared with the amount spent on SEO.
Estimated conversions are calculated by multiplying monthly organic traffic by the conversion rate. Estimated SEO revenue is then calculated by multiplying conversions by the average conversion value.
The SEO ROI formula is:
SEO ROI = (SEO Revenue − SEO Cost) ÷ SEO Cost × 100
Example
If your website receives 10,000 monthly organic visitors, converts 2.5% of visitors, and each conversion is worth $150, your estimated SEO revenue is $37,500. If you spend $2,000 per month on SEO, your estimated SEO ROI is 1,775%.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is SEO ROI calculated?
SEO ROI = (SEO Revenue − SEO Cost) ÷ SEO Cost × 100. Enter your traffic, conversion rate, conversion value, and SEO cost, and the calculator estimates your revenue and computes ROI and ROAS automatically.
What is the difference between SEO ROI and SEO ROAS?
ROI is your percentage return: (Revenue − Cost) ÷ Cost × 100. ROAS is the revenue multiple: Revenue ÷ Cost. An ROI of 1,775% is the same as a ROAS of 18.75x.
What is a good ROI for SEO?
Any positive ROI means SEO earns more than it costs. There is no universal benchmark — compare your ROI against your other marketing channels and track whether it improves over time.
What currency does the calculator use?
